Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Kingsbridge Consultancy LLC ("we", "us") handles information across our products. Sections 1–6 cover our practice apps Ram Koti and Naam Jaap ("the Apps") on iOS and Android; section 7 covers Dead Slow; section 8 covers Sandy, our golf app, which works differently from the others because it uses your location and offers an optional account. In every case we do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking.

1. Information we do not collect (Ram Koti & Naam Jaap)

You can use the Apps without creating an account or providing your name, email address, or phone number. We do not collect contacts, location, photos, or device identifiers for advertising.

2. Your practice stays on your device

Your practice counts, daily goals, streak, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Recognition runs entirely on-device:

3. Optional community board (opt-in)

Both Apps include an optional global community board (leaderboard). It is off by default. If you choose to join it, we use:

These services are provided by Google Firebase. Their handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy & Security policies.

4. Children's privacy

The Apps are suitable for general audiences and do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The optional community board asks only for a freely chosen display name.

5. Data retention & deletion

Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall an App. If you joined the community board and want your anonymous entry removed, see how to delete your data or email us at the address below, and we will delete it within 30 days.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

7. Dead Slow game & the “Dead Slow — New Tab” extension

Our web game Dead Slow and the Dead Slow — New Tab browser extension collect no data. They run entirely in your browser, request no permissions, and make no network calls; your best score is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.

8. Sandy (golf scorecard, GPS & flyovers)

Sandy works differently from our other apps: it uses your device location and offers an optional account. Everything below applies only to Sandy.

What stays on your device

Your scorecards, round history, playing partners' names, statistics, handicap index and settings are stored locally on your device. You can use Sandy to keep score without creating an account at all.

Location

With your permission, Sandy uses your location only while you are using the app — never in the background — to (a) list golf courses near you and (b) show your distance to the pin during a round. To find courses, your coordinates are sent to the OpenStreetMap Overpass service and to Google Maps Platform. We do not store your location on our servers, and your position during a round is used on your device only. Sandy works without location permission; you simply search for your course by name instead.

Optional account

If you choose to join the Clubhouse, you sign in with your email address. We store your email address and a one-time sign-in code (stored only as a cryptographic hash) on our servers to authenticate you. There is no password. We use your email address only to send sign-in codes — not for marketing.

What becomes visible to other golfers

When you are signed in and create a golfer profile, the following is stored on our servers and is visible to other Sandy users: your display name, your golfer code, your unofficial handicap index, your finished round scores and course names, and any likes or comments you post. If you follow golfers or they follow you, that connection is stored too. While you are playing, golfers who follow you can see your in-progress score hole by hole — this shares your score, not your location. Please treat anything you publish this way as public.

Service providers

Sandy relies on: Google Maps Platform (photorealistic 3D map imagery and course search), OpenStreetMap contributors via the Overpass API (golf course maps), Cloudflare (hosting and database), and Postmark (delivering sign-in emails). Requests to these services are proxied through our own server so that our API keys are never shipped inside the app.

Deleting your Sandy data

Signing out removes your account data from the device. To delete your account, published rounds and follow connections from our servers, email support@kingsbridge-consultancy.com or use our data deletion page. Rounds kept only on your device are removed when you delete the app.
